This Privacy Policy explains how 5ifty & 5ive LLC, doing business as Fifty & Five ("Fifty & Five," "we," "us"), collects, uses, and shares information when you visit fiftyandfive.com, fill out one of our forms, or communicate with us by email, phone, or text message.

Information you give us

When you use a form on this site, we collect what you enter. The contact form collects your name, email address, company, budget range, and message, and optionally your mobile phone number and your text messaging consent. The audit request form collects your name, email address, company, website, and a description of what you want reviewed. The newsletter and email signup forms collect your email address. When you book a call, our scheduling provider collects the details you enter there. We also keep the emails, calls, and text messages you exchange with us.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the site, we and our service providers collect standard technical information: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, the page that referred you, and the date and time of your visit. We use Google Analytics, which uses cookies, and Plausible Analytics, which does not use cookies, to understand how the site is used. The site stores one item in your browser's session storage so a signup prompt does not appear twice in the same visit. Our scheduling embed may set its own cookies.

How we use information

We use information to respond to your inquiry, schedule and hold calls, deliver audits and services you request, send the newsletter if you sign up, operate and secure the site, understand how the site is used, and meet legal obligations.

Text messaging

If you check the text messaging box on our contact form, we use your mobile number to text you about your inquiry, including call scheduling and project updates. We record your consent, the date and time you gave it, the wording you agreed to, and the page, IP address, and browser it came from, so we can show when and how you opted in. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are excluded from every category of sharing described in this policy and will not be shared with any third parties, except the messaging service providers that deliver our texts on our behalf.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the business, and only as needed for them to do that work: Vercel, which hosts the site; Resend, which delivers our email; Google and Plausible, for analytics; Calendly, for scheduling; Quo, for business calls and text messages; and the email and customer management tools our forms send submissions to. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale or merger of our business, in which case this policy continues to apply.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiry and client records for as long as needed to respond, work together, and meet legal and accounting obligations. We keep a record of text messaging consent and opt outs for as long as the law requires us to be able to prove them.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from email using the link in any message. You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing [email protected]. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law, and we will honor requests as that law requires.

Children

This site and our services are intended for businesses and are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the effective date above.
